No sewing today. I wanted to do some easy crafting with a good looking result and here it is! My new desk accessory.

Peaches & Pepper tin can pen holder

This pen holder is made of a tin can that is covered in fabric. It takes about 10 minutes to make one, fabric cutting included!

Supplies

To make this pen holder I used some plasticized cotton. Not because it is mandatory, but because I thought its print was most suitable for the project. To cover the sharp edge of the tin can I used some purple piping cord. I also used it to finish off the can at the bottom.

Crafting time!

First, I glued the piping cord at the bottom edge of the can using a glue gun. Then, I glued the fabric the fabric. Make sure the fabric is cut at the exact height of the can. To finish my pen holder I glued some piping cord on the sharp edge. This will prevent the user of the possibility of getting hurt.

Fill your pen holder with some colorful pens or pencils and enjoy!
