It has been a while since I used my sewing machine. Often when I came up the stairs I peeked into the sewing room, just to look at my sewing machine and to feel some fabric, dreaming away about the things I still want to make.
Oh, how I missed this place. But time is the enemy my friend!
There were/are many things going on around the house. I have a vegetable garden which is a lot of work in spring and early summer, the kids (2 yo and 11 mo) have been wearing me out, they still have their moments but at least they have their siesta simultaneously these days, and last but not least we are renovating the house. We are adding about 50 m² and are building almost everything ourselves with the help of friends and family.
So are we back in business now? Well my kids keep growing and clothes becomes too small too soon. I rather make them myself instead of buying everything in stores, so I hope to find the time to do so. While I do this I try to post a tutorial or a picture so you can see how it’s going and maybe try it yourself.
My own wardrobe could use some update too, and I still have lots of fabric that I would love to turn into a dress, skirt or T shirt. So let’s see where this goes.
In the coming weeks I will also post the tutorials of the things I made before my summer break.
This adorable dress made with light blue biological cotton with a fox print.
This is a very easy pillowcase dress, made in half an hour!
